Hughesdale extension

With no internal laundry and one toilet for three bedrooms, this property was in need of some additional services but had a very small footprint to work with. On a block that was previously subdivided and under 300 square metres, the only available space was to the side of the house. We proposed punching a hole through the wall at the end of the kitchen, extending to a new small study space, and providing a new powder room that opens through to a full sized laundry. Side access was maintained by ensuring we kept a door off the laundry.
